Benjamin Paque on his way up the Porsche Motorsport pyramid
By following his father Pierre-Yves on the circuits during Grand Touring competitions, Benjamin Paque has inevitably contracted the motor sport virus.
Barely 18 years old, the Liège native can boast of a great experience in karting, the perfect school for racing. After attending the IAME Series Benelux in the Junior and Senior categories, as well as the IAME X30 Euro Series, Benjamin switched to cars, joining the ranks of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux… with a title in the GT4 category at stake!
This marked the beginning of a methodical journey through the Porsche Motorsport pyramid. On the strength of his first title, Paque joined Come Ledogar’s CLRT team, racking up kilometres and races in a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup as part of the Porsche Sprint Challenge France. Benjamin dominated the competition, earning him a second title in two years at the end of 2022.
At the same time, the young gun took on the unlikely challenge of making his debut in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup as part of… the Monaco Grand Prix!
At the end of the season, he achieved his first impressive results in the Porsche Carrera Cup France, a competition that will be his main programme in 2023, again with CLRT. It was a more than successful campaign, with Benjamin Paque winning the Rookie of the Year title and finishing in the top five in the championship. His rise to prominence was equally impressive in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, with a front row start at Monza and a consistent presence at the top of the standings. This bodes very well for the future.
This season, he will once again compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup France, this time under the colours of TFT Racing, with victories as his main objective. Benjamin Paque will also be a key player in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, in a programme that will be unveiled shortly… Action!
No doubt, for Benjamin Paque, the future is on the move…
